The name of the candidate voted on the second round of the 2025 presidential elections will be read aloud at each bulletin to exist and an audio-video copy, because the entire process of counting the ballots will be filmed, according to the Central Electoral Bureau.
The Central Electoral Bureau issued a circular with essential instructions for the good organization and conduct of the presidential elections 2025, tour 2.
The circular is addressed to the county electoral offices, the electoral offices of the sectors of the municipality of Bucharest and the Electoral Bureau no. 48 for polling stations abroad.
In order to ensure the correctness of the registration of the voting results, between the process will be registered by the computer operators with the help of the tablet.
The process of counting the votes will be filmed, the condition of the seals on the ballot box will be checked, the tether slots will be sealed and the ballot will be announced. Also, the voting stamps will be sealed in an envelope.
At the opening of each ballot, the name of the voted candidate will be read aloud.
The voting will start on Sunday at 7.00 and will end at 9:00 pm, with the possibility of extending until 23:59, under certain conditions.
The Central Electoral Bureau specifies that it may order the renaming of the votes or the restoration of the centralization of the votes if errors or inconsistencies are found.
The request to rename the votes is addressed to the electoral bureau of the polling station by a member of it, before the results are recorded. Subsequent requests are inadmissible. The request for renovation must be formulated in writing.
The president of the Electoral Bureau of the Voting Section will vote on the approval or rejection of the request for renovation. The vote is open, and in case of equality, the president's vote is decisive.
Requests and meetings can only be admitted if there is evidence to support them.
If the renovation is approved, it will be done immediately in the polling station, with continuous video recording.
In the minutes, in the fields regarding the number of validly expressed votes, only numbers will be registered, without other graphic elements. If free boxes remain, they will be left free, without the “0” figure or other symbols.
The results of counting the votes will be registered both in Simpv and in the printed minutes. The superior hierarchical electoral bureau will verify both the compliance with the legal control keys and the identity of the data in the minutes with those in the form of verification of the correlations in Simpv.
After carrying out the voting operations and the electronic verification of the correlations, the president of the electoral bureau will draw up the minutes in 3 original copies. Each copy will be signed by the members of the Electoral Bureau and will carry the control stamp of the polling station. A copy will be displayed at the headquarters of the Electoral Bureau, and the members can be issued on request.
