The leader of Gold, George Simion, sent a message to the President of France on Friday evening, Emmanuel Macron, on the X network, in which he claimed that he is the “true winner of the Romanian elections”.
“My message for Emmanuel Macron, the true winner of the Romanian elections: national sovereignty is not negotiable!”, Simion wrote on his X account, using uppercase as Donald Trump does in his social social messages.
He also mentioned the main values of democracy and freedom, using #Democracy and #freedom hashtags.
Simion accused interference from the Republic of Moldova and the French state in the second round of the presidential election. Both countries rejected these charges.
In a live on social networks, the former presidential candidate, urged “peaceful protests” and accused Nicușor Dan of being Emmanuel Macron's puppet.
