Former Totalizator Sportowy Executive Charged with Legal Violations

A prosecutor from the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw-Praga Północ has filed charges against a former executive of Totalizator Sportowy. This action follows an investigation led by the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA), which has uncovered alleged irregularities in the individual’s financial disclosures.
The CBA has not disclosed the name of the accused, who was appointed to the board by the current government. Reports from the CBA indicate that while serving as a public official at Totalizator Sportowy, the accused was subject to restrictions on seeking additional income. Despite this, it is alleged that they received earnings from various sources and failed to disclose debts and parts of their income in asset declarations submitted for 2024 and 2025.
Furthermore, earlier reports indicated that two other former executives from Totalizator Sportowy faced similar issues, but only one of them has been suspected of committing a crime by the CBA.
