Nasz Prąd Allocates Funds for Customer Compensation Amid Sales Practice Controversy

Warsaw, September 23, 2026 – Recent articles have surfaced regarding sales practices within the renewable energy sector, particularly highlighting complaints from customers of Nasz Prąd S.A. The company has been contacted by the editorial team of the well-known program Uwaga! TVN, which reports that it remains in touch with a group of clients claiming they were misled by agents operating under the company’s name.
In response to initial media reports about these irregularities, Nasz Prąd conducted a comprehensive review of contracts signed in recent months. This inquiry included a telephone survey of nearly 500 clients. As a result, nine agents were identified as potential offenders; contracts with these individuals were terminated, and the matter was referred to the prosecutor’s office.
According to Marcin Frączek, both the clients and the company fall victim to dishonest agents, as it often takes several months for Nasz Prąd to become aware of any misleading practices. Immediate actions are taken to clarify situations and support customers, even when the company bears no formal responsibility for the issues arising.
In a significant move reflecting the company’s customer-first approach, the management has decided to cancel the congress scheduled for September 26, 2026, which was set to gather partners and agents in Warsaw. Instead, the entire budget for this event will be allocated towards compensating affected individuals. The management also committed additional separate funds beyond the originally planned budget for the congress.
Simultaneously, the company seeks media cooperation to connect with customers who feel deceived by dishonest agents acting on behalf of Nasz Prąd. Marcin Frączek stated, “We request assistance from Uwaga! TVN in reaching out to the affected customers to facilitate the compensation process. I assume the media’s goal is to help those genuinely misled by dishonest agents rather than exploiting their stories for sensational content that shocks viewers. If this is the case, our initiative should garner support from Uwaga! TVN, as together we can assist those in need.”
