American Investor Injects €52 Million into Polish Industrial Properties

American investment fund W. P. Carey has completed a €52 million sale-leaseback transaction with Purmo Group, acquiring two industrial properties in Poland. Following the deal, Purmo Group, a manufacturer of panel radiators and underfloor heating systems, will continue its operations in these facilities under a lease agreement lasting 20 years. This deal provides Purmo Group with a significant cash influx for future development and investments.
The acquired properties located in Wałcz and Rybnik include production halls and high-bay warehouses essential for Purmo’s manufacturing activities. These sites are responsible for producing the majority of the company’s panel radiators, with a combined usable area of 83,400 square meters. As reported by Investmap, this transaction is part of W. P. Carey’s broader strategy in Central and Eastern Europe, where the fund has invested over €900 million in Poland over the past two decades. The factories in Wałcz and Rybnik are expected to maintain operational continuity, with the agreement ensuring that Purmo can operate at these locations until at least 2046.
