Woman Arrested After Stabbing Four Men in Covent Garden, London

On Wednesday afternoon, four men were stabbed in Covent Garden, a popular area in central London, leading to the arrest of a 47-year-old woman. According to reports from the London Metropolitan Police, the incident is believed to be related to mental health issues.
The woman was taken into custody on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and assault, as noted by Sky News. Authorities confirmed that a pair of scissors was confiscated from the scene.
The victims, aged 34, 39, 42, and 52, received treatment at the scene before being transported to a major trauma center. A spokesperson for the London ambulance service stated that an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle, and an incident response officer were dispatched, alongside an air ambulance.
Initially, police reported that three individuals had been stabbed, but later updated the count to four. There is currently no information available regarding the severity of their injuries, according to DPA.
