Beeline has opened access without VPN to popular foreign services that have left Russia

June 11 9:00

Starting today, Beeline clients with a current bee subscription have access to foreign services that are allowed but do not work in Russia – including Spotify, Netflix, Ticketmaster, Brawl Stars and others.

Everything worked automatically, without additional payments or additional conditions. The idea of “white VPNs,” which was discussed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, quickly became practical and convenient for users of Beeline services.

Bee subscription is a new, flexible tariff model from Beeline, which replaced the fixed tariff lines. When connecting a subscription, the user chooses the Internet volume, minutes and additional options. At the same time, it can either remain at the free level (bee START and bee ZERO) or assemble an expanded complex with mobile communications, home Internet and TV.

Now all bee subscription clients will be able to use foreign services without having to turn on a VPN or use third-party applications and programs.

“There are services that are popular and in demand among Russians, which are not prohibited in our country, but have decided not to work here anymore,” said Beeline CEO Sergei Anokhin. — To use them now, you need to turn on a VPN or use the services of intermediaries – this is inconvenient and not very fair. We are working to ensure that more and more people can live their usual digital lives without unnecessary inconvenience. Therefore, to begin with, we established direct access to popular foreign services, including advanced neural networks, at Plan B tariffs, and now we have increased its coverage – and will continue to do so.”
