Gazebos, swings and playgrounds have been updated on Yaryginskaya embankment

Small architectural forms have been updated on Yaryginskaya embankment in Krasnoyarsk. This was reported to the city administration.

Contractors resurfaced the large gazebo, and replaced 13 play elements on the playgrounds. New swings, play structures and sandboxes were installed there. Also, 16 new benches and trash bins appeared on the embankment. In the walking area there were swings in the form of hanging benches overlooking the Yenisei. A play complex for children with limited mobility was installed at one of the sites.

Workers are now changing the stage covering. This week they will begin installing the canopy over the amphitheater. It will allow events to be held on the banks of the Yenisei regardless of the weather. The contractor will also replace the wood on the railings and ramp that need updating.

This season, additional decorative lighting will appear on Yaryginskaya embankment. It will be placed on canopies, balconies and a large covered gazebo.

“The contractor began laying electrical networks for decorative lighting. Also, they will soon begin planting more than a thousand perennials and shrubs on the embankment,” said Yulia Kotovich, deputy director of Krasgorpark for the implementation of complex projects.

Additionally, seasonal maintenance work is carried out on the territory. Specialists renew the surface of the playing elements and change the rubber pads on the exercise equipment. The improvement of the Yaryginskaya embankment is taking place in preparation for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. Complex work began in the spring.
