A dangerous fire in Spain. The Polish millionaire yacht burned down

The incident took place in the province of Valencia, about 100 km from Alicante. As many as 11 fire brigades joined the firefighting operation, including teams from Denia, Benidorm and Benissa. All people were evacuated from nearby yachts. The scale of the fire was so large that the fire completely destroyed two floors of the yacht, leaving only side fragments.
“The yacht caught spontaneously. About one o'clock at night I got a phone. We all stayed in Poland at the time,” said Piotr Misztal in an interview with Dziennik Łódzki. The businessman explained that at the time of the fire there was no one, because according to the regulations, the crew had to sleep at the hotel. He mentioned that the next day the unit was to be launched.
The “Still Alive” yacht burned on the Spanish coast. It was worth around EUR 10 million
“Still Alive” underwent renovation – its bottom was painted and some elements were modernized. A cruise from La Palmas to Majorca was planned, after which the yacht was to rent friends from the United States.
“We already had tickets to fly and see if everything works correctly,” Misztal confessed.
The cause of the fire remains unknown. Spanish services have reported that two other units also burned down in the same port in Denia, although they were much smaller.
“Still Alive”, which was only 2.5 years old, was the eye in the head of a Polish entrepreneur. Its value oscillated around EUR 10 million.
