According to Maciej Kmera, a wholesale market expert from the fruit and vegetable exchange in Bronisze near Warsaw, quoted by the SadyOgrody website, we are currently on the eve of the supply peak for strawberries. Due to this, there is a lot of confusion in the market.
The supply is irregular due to weather patterns and the gradual ripening of the fruit. Prices between individual days vary by as much as 30-40%. — Currently, the price is PLN 15-17 per 1 kg, but it may drop sharply within a few days if the weather pattern allows the fruit to ripen faster – explains the expert.

Strawberry prices fluctuate greatly. The situation is different with raspberries
Currently, you can buy not only strawberries from Poland. Fruit from Greece and Serbia are also still available. Their prices currently range from PLN 10 to PLN 14 per 1 kg. The situation is different in the case of raspberries from greenhouses, the supply of which is stable and still small. Due to limited demand, the price remains at approximately PLN 70 per 1 kg.
