In the Friday, May 9th edition of the Hotnews newsletter, “Reason, back!”, Made by journalist Gabriel Bejan, you will be able to read an analysis of the first debate On television between the two presidential candidates, George Simion and Nicușor Dan. The debate is organized by Euronews Romania.

The first electoral debate between Nicușor Dan and George Simion will take place this evening, from 8 pm, at the headquarters of the National University of Science and Technology Polytechnic Bucharest, being organized by Euronews Romania.

The face -to -face meeting between the two comes in the context in which an opinion poll, conducted by Verifield and presented by Nicușor Dan on May 7, shows that George Simion leads in the electorate preferences with a score of 55.4 %, while the mayor of the Capital is listed with 44.6 %.

Nicușor Dan relies on a much greater presence in the vote than in round 1, when there were 9.5 million voters, while George Simion has fewer votes to win in addition to last Sunday, than his counter -candidate.

Under these conditions, it is expected that, in the next period, the two presidents have many messages dedicated to the undecided. And the first occasion as being even in this evening's debate from Euronews Romania, from 8 pm.
