In 2026, the program to improve the environmental efficiency of the Nazarovo State District Power Plant enters the practical phase. Work has begun at the station to equip chimney No. 2 with an automatic emission control system (EACC).
Such online monitoring systems are installed at all Krasnoyarsk thermal power plants. This is one of the key stages of modernization, aimed at increasing the accuracy and transparency of industrial environmental control.

At the moment, power engineers at Nazarovskaya GRES are preparing a site for the installation of special equipment – they are laying cable connections to the installation site of a block box with gas analysis equipment. The block box itself with SAKV equipment is at the final stage of assembly at the contractor’s production site. Its delivery to the station is expected in early June, after which specialists will begin the main installation and commissioning work.
The automatic emission control system will make it possible to continuously measure and take into account emission indicators on the chimneys of the Nazarovo State District Power Plant. The data will be recorded automatically and transmitted to Rosprirodnadzor. For an enterprise, SAKV will become an additional tool for technological and environmental control, and for supervisory authorities – a source of objective information about the operation of equipment.
“Installing an automatic emission control system is an important step not only from the point of view of meeting environmental requirements, but also from the point of view of the openness of the enterprise. We are consistently moving from project preparation to practical implementation of the program. Moreover, all work is carried out at the existing station, which continues to bear the full thermal and electrical load. Therefore, each stage of modernization is carefully synchronized with production and repair schedules,” said Dmitry Morozov, General Director of Nazarovskaya State District Power Plant.
In addition to the installation of SAKV on chimney No. 2, work is planned in 2026 to modernize the gas cleaning equipment of power unit No. 2, as well as upgrades at the central dust plant of power unit No. 7.
Let us remind you that the environmental modernization program of the Nazarovo State District Power Plant is designed until 2031. The total investment volume will be about 3.3 billion rubles. The expected environmental effect is a reduction in emissions of suspended particles by 47.2%.
