Wealth ranking
In May, the Warsaw Enterprise Institute presented the 5th edition Wealth of Nations Index — an index that takes into account not only the Gross Domestic Product, but also the quality of public spending.
The classification, developed by economist Karol Zdybel, includes European Union and OECD countries. In this year's list the highest places went to Ireland, Switzerland and Norway, which once again overtook the United States.
Poland ranked 27th out of 38 countries, maintaining its position from last year. It is worth noting, however, that the points awarded to our country have decreased – from 68.6 in 2024 to 66.2 in 2025.
