In Krasnoyarsk, a ninth-grader died on the day of the last bell.
The tragedy happened on May 26 in the courtyard of a house in the Otrazheniye residential complex on Alexander Matrosov Street. According to the prosecutor's office, the 16-year-old boy had heart problems and was awaiting scheduled surgery. The Investigative Committee added that despite the measures taken by doctors, the teenager died in the ambulance.
As Komsomolskaya Pravda – Krasnoyarsk writes, the boy was an orphan. His cousin took custody of him.
A criminal case has been opened. A forensic medical examination will determine the exact cause of the student’s death.
