Large-scale searches for the Usoltsev family, who disappeared in the taiga of the Krasnoyarsk Territory on September 28, 2025, will resume in early June. Over the past months, experts have examined hundreds of kilometers of mountain taiga terrain using drones, ATVs and snowmobiles, but 64-year-old Sergei, 48-year-old Irina and their five-year-old daughter Arina were never found.

Rescuers, volunteers, foresters and police will be involved in the operation. People will be lined up in a continuous chain at intervals of 3 to 15 meters to comb every meter of the complex terrain with stones and crevices.

How said the deputy head of Mosoblpozhspas Sergei Shchetinin, dogs trained to search for the bodies of the dead will be used, since a lot of time has passed since the disappearance. According to Shchetinin, the family could have suffered due to an accident: for example, someone left the path, slipped or fell into a crevice. Yamal 1 with reference to RT, he writes that they plan to attract local rangers and hunters – they know how to work in the taiga and where bears can smell.

Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the region Alexey Kulesh explained that the timing for the operation was chosen well – the snow had already melted, but the dense foliage had not yet grown. However, the terrain remains very dangerous: the stones are covered with slippery lichen, making it easy to fall and get injured. In addition, after leaving the forest on the kurumnik, the trail disappears, and you simply cannot get back.

Irina’s son Daniil Batalov confirmed that he himself will take part in the June operation.
