Researchers told how many Russians have part-time jobs

19 May 15:40
Every fourth working Russian has a part-time job. This is stated in the SuperJob study.
Another half of those surveyed do not yet have additional work, but would like to find one. About a quarter of respondents are not interested in part-time work. Most often, Russians aged 25 to 35 have additional income. Employees who work in a hybrid format also earn extra money, that is, they spend part of the week in the office and part remotely.
Among professions, part-time work is more common among nurses, doctors, chief accountants and teachers. Less frequently reported additional employment were salespeople, economists, HR managers, and administrators. Most spend little time on part-time work. For two out of three Russians, it takes no more than 10 hours a week.
At the same time, additional income began to have a more noticeable impact on the personal budget. For many, it brings up to 30% of total income, and for some respondents it makes up an even larger share.
The survey was conducted from May 1 to May 6, 2026 among 2,500 employed Russians from all districts of the country.
