The team of the Sovetsky district of Krasnoyarsk became the winner of the regional Spartakiad of pre-conscription age youth. This was reported by the Ministry of Sports of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The competition took place in Krasnoyarsk and brought together young men aged 15–17 from all over the region. A total of 30 teams participated. Among them were representatives of four districts of Krasnoyarsk and 26 municipalities of the region. The total number of participants was 240 people. The Spartakiad took place at several venues, including the Rainbow cluster, the Biathlon Academy and the Central Stadium.
Participants competed in nine types of programs. The sports block included air rifle shooting, swimming, standing long jump, pull-ups, 100 and 3000 meters running. The young men also showed their military training skills. They disassembled and assembled an AK-74 assault rifle, underwent drill training and threw a grenade.
The winner was the team from the Sovetsky district of Krasnoyarsk. She scored 527 points and showed the best results in running, long jump, drill, as well as in disassembling and assembling a Kalashnikov assault rifle.
Now the Krasnoyarsk team will represent the region at the All-Russian stage of the Spartakiad.
The second place was taken by the team of the Yenisei Municipal District with 485 points. The team became the best in strength gymnastics. Third place went to Zheleznogorsk. The team lost only one point to the silver medalists and became the strongest in swimming.
This year the regional Spartakiad of pre-conscription age youth celebrated its 30th anniversary.
