Alexandra Căpitănescu brought Romania to the Eurovision 2026 podium, where the first two places were occupied by Bulgaria and Israel. After the applauded performance in Vienna, the artist officially thanked the fans and published images from the backstage of the show.
- In the Eurovision 2026 final in Vienna, Romania received 232 points from the public, one of the highest scores from televoting. Our country has never won the competition, but has twice achieved third place in 2005 and 2010.
Just a few minutes after the end of the gala, the performer of the song “Choke Me”, Alexandra, published photos and clips with her team, filmed at the very moments when the final marks were announced, accompanied by a message for fans.
“We did this! We did this together! I'm grateful and excited for tonight! Let's conquer the world,” the artist wrote on Instagram.
In the images, Alexandra appears with her team, with the Romanian flag in her hands, while celebrating the result obtained in Vienna.
