Kaizen Gaming: Employees contributed over 960 volunteer hours through “The Collective” in 9 international markets

The international volunteer program brought together 237 employees in initiatives dedicated to environmental protection, biodiversity, animal welfare and community support, including in Romania.

Kaizen Gaming, one of the world's largest GameTech companies and owner of online sports betting and gaming brand Betano, has successfully completed its latest series of initiatives through The Collectiveits international volunteer program.

During this phase, 237 Kaizen Gaming employees participated in organized activities in 10 locations in 9 countries, contributing over 960 volunteer hours in the first quarter of 2026 alone. Carried out in partnership with non-governmental organizations (NGOs), the program focused on supporting projects dedicated to environmental sustainability, biodiversity protection and animal welfare.

In addition to the direct involvement of employees, Kaizen Gaming also offered funding worth 80,000 Euros to partner NGOs, contributing to initiatives that supported more than 24,000 beneficiaries globally, while also strengthening projects dedicated to the protection and care of animals.

In Romania, the initiative was carried out in partnership with the Sache Association, an organization active in the field of animal protection and access to social veterinary services.

The volunteers contributed to improving the living conditions for the rescued animals, through care, feeding and interaction activities, but also through animal welfare awareness actions.

At the same time, the partnership supported the organization's activity to complete the development of the first social veterinary hospital in Romania, built in Tărtășești, a project dedicated to treating stray animals and supporting social cases through access to veterinary care.

At the international level, the initiatives carried out by “The Collective” included interventions to restore ecosystems and natural infrastructure in Greece and Malta, actions dedicated to the rehabilitation of wildlife and the care of rescued animals in Greece and Argentina, recycling and circular economy projects in Brazil, mentoring programs and support for professional integration in Germany, as well as reforestation and biodiversity conservation projects in Colombia, Portugal and Bulgaria.

The program also recorded a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 94%, reflecting a very high level of involvement and satisfaction among employees and reinforcing the role of volunteering as an important pillar of the company's organizational culture.

Ioanna Kozadinou, Corporate Responsibility Senior Manager at Kaizen Gaming, said: “The scale and impact of the work carried out through The Collective continues to grow, generating real and lasting effects through the projects we have supported. It has been inspiring to see the results achieved by Kaizeners by bringing together colleagues from multiple international markets within The Collective to support initiatives dedicated to environmental, biodiversity and community sustainability. From habitat restoration and wildlife care to recycling and community support, these activities demonstrate how practical volunteering and well-directed can generate tangible benefits for local ecosystems and communities, while strengthening engagement and a sense of shared purpose within our organization.”

From supporting rescued animals in Romania and wildlife rehabilitation projects in Greece, to contributing to recycling initiatives in Brazil, “The Collective” reflects Kaizen Gaming's commitment to generating relevant local impact in the communities in which it operates.
