Bundesliga fans, a special message for Politehnica Timișoara on the day it was promoted to League 2

During the match played in the Bundesliga today, on Augsburg's field, Monchengladbach's ultras displayed a message written in Romanian, “Ole Timisoara, to Division B!”just a few hours before Politehnica was promoted to the second echelon of Romanian football.

The friendship between the supporters of the Poli Timișoara team, especially those from Peluza Sud, and those of the Borussia Mchengladbach club, Nordkurve, is one of the oldest and closest ultras relations in Romania, something that has been seen even today.

The fans who traveled for the match in round number 33 of the Bundesliga, on Augsburg's field, lost 1-3, prepared a special moment for the “brothers” from Politehnica Timișoara.

In the 10th minute of the game, they displayed a banner that read “Ole Timișoara, towards Division B!”, a message of encouragement for the people of Banat, who were to play a decisive match a few hours later.

In Timișoara, the team led by Dan Alexa received a visit from the Minaur Baia Mare team. The message displayed by the Germans was lucky, and Politehnica prevailed 1-0, achieving promotion to League 2.

The only goal of the game came in the 60th minute and was scored by Călin Toma, who converted a shot from 11 meters.

At the end, the fans entered the field to celebrate and lit torches.
