Bayern Munich have transferred Pep Guardiola's collaborator

Bayern Munich announced the hiring of Daniel Fradley (35 years old) as second coach. The Englishman last worked at Manchester City, in Pep Guardiola's staff.

The announcement came at lunchtime.

“Our coaching team is strengthened by the co-optation of Daniel Fradley. He most recently worked at Manchester City under Pep Guardiola and now joins head coach Vincent Kompany's team as assistant coach. Welcome to Munich, Daniel!”, read the Bavarians' statement.

At Manchester City, Fradley filled the role of senior analyst. Between November 2023 and December 31, 2025 he was head of analytics for the entire City Football Group ecosystem.

However, he worked the most at another club owned by City Football Group, New York City FC, between 2015 and 2023. He was an analyst, respectively a technical coach. But he started his career at Rochdale. He made his debut in the Academy and gradually rose to the first team.
