In Krasnoyarsk on May 9, the traditional “Rays of Victory” event will be held – spotlights will be turned on at sports facilities in memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War.

“At 21:55, the sky over the city will be colored for 15 minutes by a fireworks display from spotlights located at the Central Stadium and the Lokomotiv Stadium. This way, Krasnoyarsk residents will be reminded of the heroic feat of the Soviet people, who liberated the world from Nazism, and of the historical festive illumination that decorated Moscow on June 24, 1945 after the legendary Parade of Winners,” the Ministry of Sports said.
The celebration of Victory Day in Krasnoyarsk will end on 22:00 fireworks. This year a record amount was allocated for it – almost 9.9 million rubles. 2.5 thousand pyrotechnic shells will be launched into the sky simultaneously from two barges on the Yenisei: opposite the Yenisei Lights hotel and near the Krasnoyarye shopping center.
