The expert council of the Grants.FM competition summed up the results of the annual grant competition of the Melnichenko Foundation. In total, in 2026, 160 social initiatives from the regions of presence of SUEK, EuroChem and SGK will receive financial support.
The Krasnoyarsk Territory has traditionally been among the territories with the largest number of winning projects – 18 initiatives were supported this year.
The leader was Nazarovo, where 12 projects will receive grants, which is three times more than last year. Among the initiatives are the creation of a full-fledged ski infrastructure in Berezovaya Roshcha, holding tournaments in the Japanese team game yukigassen for students and schoolchildren, as well as a number of volunteer projects for employees of the Nazarovsky open-pit mine and the Nazarovskaya State District Power Plant: assistance to the “Four Paws” animal shelter, support for the elderly and organization of tourist activities for kindergarten students.

In Borodino, five initiative teams also received funding. For example, the Museum of the History of the City will create a family leisure space “Lampovo” with intimate film screenings and master classes, and the Central City Library will open the “Borodino Resource Center”, where they will teach social design and help fill out grant applications. Another project – “Long live the theater!” — will unite children who find themselves in difficult life situations and children with disabilities.
Previously, thanks to grants from the Melnichenko Foundation, significant initiatives have already been implemented in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Bronze gophers appeared in the regional capital – heroes of the project “Gophers in the City of K”, and as part of other grants, environmental campaigns, sports tournaments and cultural events were held in Krasnoyarsk.
In Nazarovo, the first auto town was opened to teach children traffic rules, in Borodino, children produced a cartoon about the history of their mining town, and in the coal mining village of Dubinino, Sharypovsky Municipal District, thanks to a grant from the Melnichenko Foundation, a “Center for Assistance to Older Citizens” will appear on the basis of the House of Culture.
“The Grants.FM competition is an opportunity for the residents themselves to change their cities. We see that the number of applications has doubled, and projects are becoming more mature and well-developed. This indicates a high level of trust and responsibility of initiative groups, employees of enterprises and institutions,” said Tatyana Zhuravleva, General Director of the Melnichenko Foundation.
The Grants.FM competition has been a systematic platform for supporting civil initiatives for several years. For small towns such as Nazarovo, Borodino, Sharypovo, such assistance is of particular importance: here, every supported project means real changes in people’s daily lives, new opportunities for children, families, youth and the older generation. It is initiatives like this that create a comfortable environment, strengthen local communities and give residents confidence that their ideas are heard and in demand. And for city-forming enterprises, such as SUEK-Krasnoyarsk and SGK, the development of the urban environment and social infrastructure is a strategic task, because a comfortable modern city retains personnel, attracts young families and strengthens the economy of the territory.
