The Bolojan effect at TVR 1. The audience exploded during the interview conducted by Ramona Avramescu

The national television station registered a substantial increase in the audience on the segment in which the interview of journalist Ramona Avramescu with Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan was broadcast, according to the data consulted by Pagina de Media.
The figures recorded by TVR have more than tripled both nationally and in urban areas. In the commercial segment, the growth was spectacular: in just one hour, TVR 1's audience increased tenfold.
Almost 125,000 Romanians watched every minute, on Wednesday evening, the interview from the TVR set with the head of the Government, the audience leading TVR 1 into the top 10 television stations for the 21.00-22.00 interval.
Around 40,000 Romanians watched the previous show, “Peace Disagreements”, on Wednesday with Monica Ghiurco and Dana Chera in the studio, broadcast between 20.00-21.00, and the television was close to 30th place.
Thus, Bolojan's presence helped TVR enter an interval dominated by Pro TV and Antena 1,
And in the cities, the prime minister increased the audience on TVR 1, bringing in almost four times more viewers than before the interview conducted by Ramona Avramescu, thus more than 70,000 townspeople watched the public television between 21 and 22.
Spectacular jump for TVR 1 and the commercial audience, i.e. urban Romanians, aged between 21 and 54. In just one hour, the audience for this segment multiplied tenfold.
With the show “Dezacorduri de pace”, the interest was almost non-existent: about 2,000 viewers from the commercial audience, which placed TVR 1 around position 50 in the ranking.
The situation changed radically with the interview given by Ilie Bolojan, which propelled the station almost to the top 10, an increase of about 40 positions. In absolute figures, we are talking about almost 25,000 viewers.
Even so, TV consumption remains low in this segment. Apart from the stations Antena 1, Pro TV and Kanal D, no other channel exceeded the threshold of 50,000 viewers from the commercial audience.
In April, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan was on Știrile Protv, presented by Andreea Esca, marking a huge audience on the TV station. 35.4% of the Romanians present on television at that moment were watching what the head of government was saying.
