Russian attack on the Zaporojie region: 16 people died and another 35 were injured in a criminal colony

Russia's strokes during the night on a criminal colony in the Southeast Ukraine region of Southeast killed 16 people and injured at least 35, the Ukrainian military authorities in the region and its governor, quoted by Reuters, announced on Tuesday.
Ivan Fedorov, the governor, wrote on the Telegram Messenger application that the buildings of the criminal colony were destroyed, and nearby private homes were also damaged.
“At night, the enemy hit the Zapuijie region 8 times, initially with Bombs Fab. They also hit the criminal colony. 16 people were killed, 35 were injured,” he said.
He did not specify how many of the dead and wounded were detained and how many employees of the criminal colony. Fedorov said instead that the intervention units have arrived on the spot and that the wounded receive medical care.
Ukrainian authorities have not yet offered more details.
The Russian forces have constantly hit the Zapuijie region, using drones, rockets and aerial bombs, from the beginning of the war triggered by President Vladimir Putin through the large -scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
This is one of the 4 regions of Ukraine that Putin proclaimed annexed to Russia in September 2022, along with the regions of Herson, Donetk and Lugansk.
