Grindeanu, unleashed on Bolojan: He has a fascist language / He is the same as Dragnea, he wants to control the entire political scene

PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu says that PNL Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan behaves like the former head of PSD Liviu Dragnea, who wanted to control the entire political scene by himself “and, if he is no longer there, then everything must be ruined”.
In an interview on Thursday evening on the Antena 3 CNN station, Sorin Grindeanu was asked what is the difference between his situation in 2017 – when he was prime minister and PSD withdrew his political support, but he did not want to resign – and that of Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan now.
“There is a big difference. I was then fighting a man, Liviu Dragnea, who proved afterwards where he led Romania, we all know, I wouldn't want to elaborate… But even then and now we are talking about a man. A man who, like Liviu Dragnea from then, has 85% negative confidence and Romanians say, in a percentage of over 80%, that he is leading Romania in the wrong direction. And yes, if he matches with someone Ilie Bolojan has been matching with Liviu Dragnea since then”, said Sorin Grindeanu.
“We are now in an area where a single man, just as Dragnea did then, a single man tries to control the entire political scene and, if he is no longer there, then everything must break down. (…) We only talked about the disastrous management that Ilie Bolojan is doing as prime minister. And that Ilie Bolojan seems to be now setting fire to fields, poisoning wells, cutting all dialogue bridges, so that after his reign, because on Tuesday there will be no chance of building a pro-European coalition, and I will tell you that this tactic that Ilie Bolojan is applying is a kind of irresponsibility. You can also build highways without him being prime minister, and for us there must be a better life,” continued the PSD leader.
Sorin Grindeanu watched during the interview on Antena 3 CNN and a fragment of an interview given by Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan on a podcast that was broadcast at the same time, Thursday evening. In the excerpt broadcast, Bolojan says about PSD: “It's hard to sit at the table with someone who, more than once, has shown you that he doesn't respect you. If someone doesn't respect you, tries to humiliate you, how can you trust him? PSD has behaved in an arrogant manner all this time.”
At the same time, in the same interview, Ilie Bolojan tried to qualify his statement that caused controversy and outraged the social democrats, the one about the “rats in the pantry”.
Grindeanu's reaction: “What Bolojan is doing is fascist”
“This language used by Ilie Bolojan is a fascist language”, Sorin Grindeanu reacted vehemently, on Antena 3. “It is an example from the period of fascist propaganda, of Goebbels, before and during the Second World War. I did not allow myself to speak like that or to label some in one way or another”, he also said.
“I see that he is a political fetish with the light on, with pantries, rats… If he still found these things, why didn't he go until now, for ten months, to make a complaint to any state institution? Because, otherwise, he might be accused of concealment. (…) Everything is propaganda these days, a propaganda that the Prime Minister applies letter by letter, I will not enter into this escalation of public discourse. But if you still asked about extremism and fascism, what Ilie Bolojan is doing is of this type,” claimed Grindeanu.
