The “bolojenist” mayor from the PSD: “There will be no surprise, the PSD and AUR winners win.” He sees “only one type of government”

The mayor of Buzău, the social democrat Constantin Toma, believes that, “unfortunately, there is every chance that Ilie Bolojan will leave” after the PSD-AUR censure motion and says that “the only technical variant of governance is obvious” – an alliance between PSD and AUR, with a PSD premier, the party that “triggered this misfortune”.
Constantin Toma is a declared supporter of Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, being named by the PSD leadership as “our Bolojanist”.
“At this moment there is only one solution – a PSD-AUR government”
Toma says that, most likely, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan will be dismissed by the censure motion initiated by PSD and AUR and signed by 253 parliamentarians.
“There will be no surprise, the winners PSD and AUR win. Unfortunately, there is every chance that Ilie Bolojan will leave. At the moment there is only one solution, a PSD-AUR government, there is no other option. At the moment when the PNL and USR avoid entering the government and they have no way to enter, the only varied PSD-AUR technique is obvious. I am a social democrat, but I do not agree with this,” PSD mayor Constantin told Agerpres on Wednesday Thomas.
In his opinion, it would be a mistake to appoint a technocrat prime minister.
“It's incredible, there are comments related to the fact that the PSD would like a technocrat prime minister, but a technocrat would be a puppet in these conditions where tough measures must be taken and you must have strong support in Parliament.
Tough decisions have to be made further, spending must continue to decrease in the budget area, because whatever government will be in power, it has to fulfill some obligations to the European Commission and to international creditors, related to the 6.2% budget deficit this year. PSD started this misfortune, they must finish it and normally the prime minister should be from PSD, if Bolojan falls. To take the tough measures that must be taken further”, added Toma.
PSD-AUR's censure motion, titled “STOP the Bologan Plan to destroy the economy, impoverish the population and fraudulently sell the state's wealth”, will be debated and voted on on May 5.
