The Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory celebrated the year of “Siberian Longevity” with a walk through the eco-park (video)

April 28 9:36

In Krasnoyarsk, the first anniversary of the regional movement “Siberian Longevity” was celebrated on April 27 in the Birch Grove eco-park. Governor Mikhail Kotyukov joined the participants on the walk.

Together they hung and filled the feeders that the activists had made with their own hands.

Krasnoyarsk residents older generation told the head of the region thatand during the year, more than two thousand sports, cultural and educational events took place within the framework of the project, for which participants signed up more than 16 thousand times. Tourist walks through the city’s eco-parks have become the most popular.

The head of the region noted that the movement is in demand, but there are still few men in it, so he ordered to look for mechanisms to involve them purposefully:

“I myself meet participants in the pool, in city parks – I see that people live actively and with pleasure. It is important that family formats are emerging, where they come together with their grandchildren: joint activities bring generations together. At the same time, I noticed that there are still few men in the movement. Instructed to establish work with trade unions and other organizations in order to involve them purposefully. We need to expand the project further so that an active life in older age is available in every corner of our large region.”

Let us remind you that the “Siberian Longevity” movement started a year ago, its goal is to keep the older generation active and healthy. Now the successful experience of Krasnoyarsk is being scaled to other cities in the region: in 2026, Achinsk, Minusinsk, Lesosibirsk, Norilsk and Kansk joined the movement. In order for more residents of the region to become participants, this year the age limit was lowered from 55 to 50 years.

You can register in the regional movement “Siberian Longevity” by calling hotline 122, at the MFC and city libraries, as well as on the portal Siberian Longevity.rf (here you can also sign up for events – hikes, excursions, classes on the development of memory, cognitive functions, etc.).
