Three people detained at Baneasa Airport following a fight. The scandal started on the plane coming from Germany
Five people were involved in an altercation at Baneasa Airport, requiring the intervention of law enforcement. The scandal allegedly started during a flight on the Germany-Romania route and continued in the Arrivals terminal. Following the investigations, three people were detained.

“On April 21 this year, the officers of the “Henri Coandă” Air Transport Police Service from the Bucharest Regional Transport Police Department were alerted by telephone by the dispatcher of Bucharest Băneasa International Airport – Aurel Vlaicu regarding the fact that, in the area of the Arrivals Terminal, several people were having an altercation”announces, on Wednesday, IGPR, in a press release.
The cited source stated that 5 people were identified, and they were taken to the police headquarters for investigation, News writes.
“Subsequently, the checks showed that three of them would have traveled by plane on the Germany-Romania route, the conflict breaking out during the flight. Also, upon arrival in the Băneasa airport terminal area, two of the participants would have hit each otherat which time 2 other men, acquaintances of one of the first, would have intervened in the altercation, who in turn would have hit the man and the woman with whom their acquaintance was in conflict“, the policemen also specified.
Following the investigation, three people were detained for 24 hours, being investigated for hitting or other violence and disturbing public peace and order.
