Bad weather weather warning. Cold, wind and snow in the mountains, announced by ANM

Meteorologists have extended the weather warning until tomorrow. There will be mixed precipitation in the mountains, in the east and south of Transylvania, predominantly snow at altitudes above 1400 m, intensification of the wind, low temperatures and fog, according to ANM.
On Wednesday (April 22), there will be mixed precipitation in the mountains and passes in the east and in the south of Transylvania, and at altitudes higher than 1400 m, in the Southern Carpathians and in the Eastern Carpathians, it will snow and a new layer of snow will be deposited (on average 5 cm). Temporarily, the wind will intensify in the western and southwestern regions, where gusts will generally reach speeds of 40…45 km/h.
On Thursday (April 23) there will be wind intensifications in all regions, with gusts generally of 40…50 km/h, and in the mountains and in the northern, eastern and central regions, locally over 55…60 km/h.
On Wednesday and Thursday the weather will be cold for this period, so during the nights, in some places, fog will occur, especially in the intra-Carpathian regions and in the hilly areas of the rest of the territory.
A wind code yellow is in effect on Thursday (April 23) from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. During the day, in Moldova, Transylvania, Maramureș, the south of Banat, the south-west of Oltenia, the north-east of Muntenia and Dobrogea, there will be intensification of the wind with speeds of 50…70 km/h, and in most of the mountain area of 70…90 km/h.
Also on Thursday, a wind code orange will be in effect from 12:00pm to 8:00pm.
In the mentioned interval, in Botoșani, Iași counties, as well as in the low area of Suceava county, there will temporarily be strong wind intensifications, with gust speeds of 70…90 km/h. Strong wind intensifications will also be in the Southern Carpathians, Curbura and the Western Mountains, at altitudes above 1600 m, with gusts of 90…130 km/h.
