Since the beginning of 2026, specialists from the Krasnoyarsk Rosselkhoznadzor have discovered seeds of non-existent varieties in 15 online stores.

For example, on April 10, it was established that more than 120 varieties of vegetable crops were sold through the Beloflora online store, which were not included in the State Register of varieties and hybrids of agricultural plants approved for use.

Among these seeds:

• 61 varieties of tomatoes under the trademarks “Semena Altai”, “Sibirskiy Sad”, “Agros”, “Semko”, IP Grigoriev;
• 2 varieties of white cabbage of the Seeds of Altai brand;
• 2 varieties of onions of the Seeds of Altai brand;
• 12 varieties of carrots of the Seeds of Altai and Siberian Garden trademarks;
• 24 varieties of cucumber under the trademarks “Semena Altai”, IP Grigoriev, “Sibirsky Sad”;
• 13 varieties of sweet pepper of the brands “Semena Altai”, “Agros”, “Sibirsky Sad”;
• 7 varieties of table beets under the brands “Sibirsky Sad” and “Semena Altai”.

The list of non-existent tomato varieties includes “Semyon headless”, “Machachos”, “Minusinsk miracle from Podsinee”, “Kebab”, “Mighty Udder”, “Pink Bag” and others. Among the cucumbers, buyers were offered “Watermelon Cucumber,” “Candy Cucumber,” “Simple-Single,” “Salty Ears,” “Gypsy Camp,” and others, which were not included in the State Register, and for peppers, “Babkin’s Tongue,” “Yolo Miracle,” “Romantsov’s Firstborn,” “Mammoth Tusks,” “Gromozeka Boof” and others.

The entrepreneur was warned against violating mandatory requirements. Rosselkhoznadzor pointed out to him the need to sell batches of seeds only from those agricultural plants whose varieties are included in the State Register of Varieties and Hybrids of Agricultural Plants approved for use.
