The Department of Municipal Economy and Transport warns Krasnoyarsk residents of responsibility for improper disposal of car tires.
Despite the changeable weather, many motorists have already begun the seasonal change of tires. Experts emphasize: worn tires should not be thrown away with regular garbage; they must be recycled.
Free collection of tires from the public is organized by PJSC Tatneft. You can donate both passenger and truck tires, including studded ones. However, industrial, agricultural and all-terrain tires are not accepted at the point.
The reception point is located at the address: Krasnoyarsk Territory, Emelyanovsky district, Sukhaya Balka village, Krasnoyarsk – Yeniseisk highway, 15th kilometer, building 8. Reception is open from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 15:00, tel.: 8-917-901-32-21.
Leaving tires and tires at MSW sites is strictly prohibited, as garbage trucks do not pick them up. Rubber takes more than 100 years to decompose and can release toxic compounds in the process. If such waste is found on the territory, the owner or tenant of the site is responsible for its removal and recycling.
For throwing or storing tires in unauthorized places, fines of up to 400 thousand rubles are provided, and in some cases – administrative arrest. Responsibility is enshrined in both environmental legislation and city improvement rules.
