Ceasefire in Ukraine for Easter. Trump's series of posts. Summary of the night

Donald Trump gushes over Viktor Orban

The US president posted a long entry on the Truth Social website, in which he spared no shortage of warm words towards Viktor Orban. Donald Trump encouraged Hungarians to vote for the Fidesz leader in Sunday's elections, calling him a “true friend, warrior and winner” and “a truly strong and influential leader with a proven track record of phenomenal achievements.”

In the next post, he accused Tehran of violating the terms of the ceasefire. “Iran is doing a very poor, dishonorable, some would say, job of allowing oil to flow through the Strait of Hormuz. This is not our deal!” – he wrote.

What will happen on Friday?

Today is the 16th anniversary of the Smolensk disaster. On April 10, 2010, a Tu-154M plane crashed near Smolensk. 96 people died in this disaster, including President Lech Kaczyński and his wife Maria, the highest commanders of the Polish Army and the last president of the Republic of Poland in exile, Ryszard Kaczorowski. Anniversary celebrations will be held throughout the country. At 8:41 President Karol Nawrocki will begin the anniversary celebrations.

Today is also the third day of the two-week ceasefire between Iran and the US and the 42nd day of Tel Aviv and Washington's war with Tehran. Despite the ceasefire, the situation in the Middle East is still unstable.

The last days of the election campaign are underway in Hungary. Prime Minister Viktor Orban will meet with his supporters in Szekesfehervar on Friday, and the leader of the opposition Tisha, Peter Magyar, will visit the country's five constituencies.

On the night from Friday to Saturday, the Orion capsule will land in the waters of the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego, California. Four astronauts will return to Earth after completing their flight as part of the Artemis II mission.
