The Minister of the Environment accuses Romsilva of wanting to extend the “aberrant benefits” of the employees

The Minister of the Environment Diana Buzoianu accuses the management of Romsilva of procrastinating the negotiation of the new collective labor agreement, which would eliminate the “abnormal benefits” of the employees of the Directorate. Buzoianu said that even the representatives of the ministry in the board of directors participated in the procrastination.
“Let me tell you something cool that shows us how much we still need to reform Romsilva. Do you know all the aberrant benefits from their collective labor agreement? The ones that for years the Silva union has been saying are above the law? Well, last year the negotiation for a new collective labor agreement was supposed to start,” begins Diana Buzoianu's post on Facebook.
The board of directors belatedly approved the start of negotiations, but Silva's union recently requested that no new contract be negotiated.
Dispute the new collective labor agreement
“Let the collective labor contract (with those many aberrant articles with raises, benefits and very few control mechanisms against corruption in the system) be extended for one more year. You would say that the members of the board of directors had to give a simple vote: “we cannot do something like this”. What do you think the board members did, though? They postponed the vote to think a little more. That is, it was not clear to them that an aberrant request must be rejected, that the collective labor agreement must be opened and the toxic articles removed from there,” wrote the Minister of the Environment.
Buzoianu accused the two representatives of the ministry in the CA of supporting the postponement of the decision, in contradiction with the vision of the leadership of the Ministry of Environment.
“From now on, the representative members of the ministry will be asked how they really represent the ministry through their votes, as they have officially received a mandate. The mandate is not mandatory, but that does not mean that they can make fun of the long-awaited reform for generations for this institution (…) The extension of an aberrant contract, at the behest of the Silva union, does not represent reform, it does not represent good for the forests. It represents cowardice. It represents ill will,” concluded Diana Buzoianu.
The representatives of the Ministry of Environment in the CA of Romsilva are Dan Achim, former director of the Forest Guard, and Speranța-Georgeta Ionescu, former secretary general in the Ministry of Finance.
