Prince Harry, the youngest son of King Charles III, lost his appeal against the British government's decision to reduce the level of protection provided by the police during his visits to the United Kingdom, after his royal family and move to the United States, AFP, taken over by Agerpres.

The judge stated that he was sensitive to the “strong and emotional arguments” of the prince, who was not present at the hearing.

However, he believed that the Duke of Sussex's dissatisfaction is not “a legal argument in favor of challenging” the Government's decision.

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, moved to the United States after choosing to give up their royal obligations in 2020. They then lost the right to benefit from the systematic protection of the police, provided for the active members of the Royal Family, paid by the British taxpayers, and the Ministry of Interior (Home Office) has decided to provide them with a protection from case.

Prince Harry, 40, opened an action in court in 2021 to challenge that decision. After his request was rejected in the first instance last year, he appealed to the London Court of Appeal.
