Viktor Orban talks about “reorganizing the attitude towards Russia.” “Some countries don't understand”
According to Orban, in a decade Central Europe will be the most important part of the continent. — In 10 years, Central Europe will be the most important (on the continent), said the Prime Minister.
He added that the region will respond better to American policy if it changes its attitude towards Russia.
— We just need to reorganize our attitude towards Russia. Some countries in the region still do not understand that without relations and business with Russia we will not achieve success, Orban said. In his opinion, a rational approach to this issue will guarantee a great future for Central Europe.
Orban also commented on the situation in Ukraine, expressing confidence in the Russian victory. — The Russians will achieve their war goals (in Ukraine), so the only question left is how we will react to it — noted the politician.
Viktor Orban criticized Western elites. He mentioned Donald Trump
Orban harshly assessed Western European elites, describing them as exhausted and visionless. “Western elites are tired, bored and out of ideas,” he said. According to him, Donald Trump was the answer to this crisis. — We needed someone else and it turned out to be Donald Trump, said the head of the Hungarian government.
The prime minister criticized the way European leaders treated the American president during his first term. He pointed to mocking Trump and European moralizing as the main mistakes.
— We will not change the USA or the fact that it is guided by its own interests. European moralizing is embarrassing. It is only good for the well-being of liberal intellectuals in Brussels. It was also a mistake to ridicule Trump. Even if he is an individualist without a traditional political background, you cannot behave like that. This was the will of the Americans and it must be respected, but they (European leaders) did not do it, he said.

In Orban's opinion, European leaders have spoiled relations with the US. – They destroyed bridges and opportunities for communication with the greatest power in the world because (Trump) is not a liberal like them, but a conservative – he said. He added that Europe did not understand the significance of Trump's repeated victory. — Then, when Trump won for the second time, Europe did not understand that this was not just a personal success of one man, but a sign of new times, said the Prime Minister.
Viktor Orban spoke about the war in Iran. “The globalist approach is over”
The politician pointed to the war in Iran as an example of a new world order in which thinking in terms of national interest dominates. — Previously, acting on the basis of national interest was not so common. But this whole liberal, globalist approach is over. What matters now is the great forces acting on the basis of their own interests, and that is what the United States is doing now, Orban said.
The head of the Hungarian government assessed the importance of destroying Iran's military capabilities. — Iran was the center of a paramilitary, international, anti-Semitic and anti-freedom network. Destroying these abilities can bring us closer to peace. But if the US fails to achieve this, it may bring us an even more brutal, more complicated war, said the Prime Minister.

Viktor Orban appreciates China. “It's impossible for anyone to beat”
Orban emphasized that in the context of the outbreak of the war, he first thought about the threats to his own country. — The first is migration, a deadly threat in Europe. Many countries were unable to say “no” to migration and now they are in great trouble. In terms of identity, these are lost countries, said the Hungarian Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister also referred to the global rivalry between superpowers, noting that “it is already too late to defeat China.” — It's impossible for anyone to defeat China. If someone thinks in terms of “only one sun in the world”, he does not understand the current situation at all. China is impossible to defeat. They will be one of the main global forces. Europe no longer matters, Orban said.
