Officials call entrepreneurs who do not issue invoices to KSeF, although they should. The Ministry of Finance assures that these are friendly talks, writes Tuesday's “Rzeczpospolita”.

“Experts recommend moderation in revealing company secrets,” he adds.
This is not an inspection, we only want to “accompany taxpayers in the process of adapting to changes” – this is how the Ministry of Finance responded to “Rzeczpospolita”'s questions regarding calls to entrepreneurs who do not issue invoices to KSeF. “And assured that there is nothing to fear for now, because sanctions for non-application of the new system will not enter into force until 2027.” – describes the diary.
The Ministry argues that the actions taken, including telephone contacts, are not of a verification or control nature.
“The talks are conducted in a partnership format (…) They are not intended to check which taxpayers have joined the KSeF, nor to enforce obligations. Their essence is informational and practical support,” we read in the response of the Ministry of Finance.
“What do tax advisors think about this? First of all, they recommend moderation in disclosing company secrets to the tax office,” writes the newspaper.
“Experience from contacts with the tax office shows that information obtained in casual conversations with taxpayers is then used against them,” explains Tomasz Piekielnik, tax advisor and owner of a tax consulting firm. (PAP)
