The cable car from Sinaia, the gondola that goes up from the 1,400 level to the 2,000 level in Bucegi and facilities that serve the slopes are stopped, notes News.ro.
The administrators of the Sinaia resort's ski area announced on Saturday that the sale of tickets for the cable car going up from the resort to the Bucegi mountains was stopped, due to the strong wind.
Also due to the strong wind, which does not allow the safe operation of the cable transport facilities, the Carp Gondola, which climbs from 1,400 to 2,000 altitude, in Bucegi, the Soarelui chairlift, the Dorului chairlift and the Călugărul ski lifts that serve the Sinaia ski area were not started.

The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued new warnings of strong wind and rain on Friday, valid until Sunday evening. The gusts will exceed 65 km/h in Bucharest and eight eastern counties, while in the mountains the wind reaches the threshold of 80 km/h.
The weather advisory remains in effect until Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
In the mentioned interval, temporarily, especially during the days, in the eastern half of the country the wind will intensify with speeds generally of 40…45 km/h, and in the high mountain area of 60…70 km/h, meteorologists announce.
