“I thought I would die.” Kim Kardashian broke out in tears at the 10 million euro jewelry process

The American reality TV star Kim Kardashian said on Tuesday at a Paris court that she thought she would be raped and killed during the 2016 robbery, when she was threatened with the weapon in her hotel room that stole jewelry worth millions of euros, Reuters reports, according to Agerpres.

Kim Kardashian, wearing an elegant black outfit, and bright jewelry, arrived at the court with a black car, accompanied by her mother. The cameras were not allowed in the courtroom, and its testimony was not transmitted live.

“I thought I was going to die,” she said before the court, crying as she testified. “I thought of my sister, I thought it would come in and see me deadly shot and that it will remain forever with this memory,” the star said.

According to investigators, the suspects are accused of tied Kardashian with adhesive tape and plastic necklaces before running with more jewelry, including a 4 million-dollar engagement ring, given to her husband's star of that period, rapper Kanye West (currently known).

“I came to Paris for Fashion Week, Paris was always a place I loved so much. I left the next morning, so I was doing my luggage, it was about three in the morning. I heard steps climbing the stairs when I was in bed. 'The ring!' In English, pointing to the finger.

The star said that, at one point, he was afraid he would be raped because the thieves threw her on the bed, and one of them took her foot. “But he tied me and brought my feet closer,” she said.

Before the testimony of Kardashian, his stylist, Simone Harouche, who was sleeping in the same apartment in the luxury hotel complex at the time of the attack, said before the “terror” court they both felt during the robbery. In the courtroom at the Palace of Justice, the stylist said he heard Kardashian screaming: “I have children and I have to live. Take everything, I have to live.”

Harouche was on the ground floor of the duplex apartment at the time of the attack, while Kardashian was upstairs. Harouche rushed to close in the bathroom and sent a message to Kardashian's sister, Kourtney, and their bodyguards, asking for help.

After leaving the thieves, Kardashian, who went down to her, on the ground floor, “had come out of her mind; I never saw her before,” Harouche said. “I simply scream and said that we have to leave, that we need help, (asking) what we will do if they return.”

Harouche also cried during the deposition and said that he changed his job and followed therapy because of the robbery, which, in his words, caused a post-traumatic stress and made her be afraid to be around the celebrities.

“I forgive you,” Kim Kardashian told one of the defendants

Kim Kardashian said during the trial that he had forgiven the main accused, Aomar Ait Khedache, who sent him a letter of excuses.

“I always wanted to become a lawyer and fight for people. I always believed in the second chance. I forgive you for what happened, but that doesn't change the trauma and the way my life has changed. Thank you for the letter,” she said, according to AFP.

In total, nine men and a woman are judged in this case. Five of them, all men, are accused of reinforced and kidnapped robbery and risks a life imprisonment. The others are accused of complicity in robbery or unauthorized possession of a weapon.

In their flight, on the floor or with the help of bicycles, the thieves lost some of the jewelry, including a six diamond cross, which a passerby found on the street and handed over to the poly. However, most jewelry, including $ 4 million engagement ring, were not found.

“Grandfather Band”, judged in Paris for the robbery of 2016

Yunice Abbas, 71 years old, one of the 10 suspects judged, many around the age of 70 and nicknamed the “grandparents' band, told the French press that he and the other robbery did not know who Kardashian was.

“I did not target her, but her diamond,” Abbas told C8 TV a few years ago. Abbas acknowledged his participation in the robbery, even writing a book about his role.

In interviews with the French press, he said he was sorry for what he did and wants to apologize to Kardashian.

Frank Berton, Aomar Aomar Ait Khedache's lawyer, nicknamed “Omar the old man,” Kardashian's international fame will not affect the process last month. Khedache is accused of being the band leader, an accusation he denies.

“The process attracts international attention because of the applicant's identity, the victim,” Berton said. “What we hope is that this does not change anything in the way the facts are judged,” he added.
