Preparation:

  • Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve or beat in a blender until smooth.
  • Add condensed milk, semolina, zest and vanilla sugar.
  • Mix well until smooth.
  • Cover the bowl and leave for 20-30 minutes to allow the semolina to swell.
  • Place the mixture into a pan lined with parchment.
  • Smooth the surface and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
  • Remove and cut into portioned squares or diamonds.
  • Roll each in coconut, cocoa or chopped nuts.
  • Serve chilled with strawberries, banana or a dollop of sour cream.

Is it possible to make cheesecakes without baking?
Yes. These “cheesecakes” are prepared without a stove: the curd mass hardens in the refrigerator. They are soft, slightly moist inside and hold their shape perfectly.

How to cook cheesecakes without a frying pan and oil?
Mix soft cottage cheese with condensed milk, semolina and zest, place in a mold and cool for 1-2 hours. The result is a tender, cool dessert without frying or fat.
