“On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, there will be no scheduled passenger flights at Berlin Brandenburg Airport. The ver.di trade union has called on employees of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB) to participate in a warning strike. Trade unionists are demanding salary increases of 6%, at least EUR 250 per month for each professional group, and an additional day off for union members. The next round of negotiations between employee representatives and the employer is scheduled for March 25.
“BER employees ensure the operation of the airport every day. They deserve respect — and a collective bargaining agreement that recognizes them” said ver.di negotiator Holger Rößler.
