The official autopsy in the case of Navalnyi's death, published by supporters of the Russian opponent. “Does not meet any ethical standards”

Supporters of Aleksei Navalnyi, the Russian dissident who died in a prison colony two years ago, have released details from the official autopsy of his death, according to messages posted Monday on the X network by Maria Pevcik, a member of the dissident's team.
Maria Pevcik said that the document was published with the permission of Aleksei Navalnyi's family and with the aim of preventing a possible sensationalist official presentation by the Russian state media, write DPA and Agerpres.
She said the 270-page forensic report was drawn up in mid-2024, has been in the possession of Navalnyi's relatives for the past 18 months and has been seen by experts.
“Its content does not meet any ethical standards, not even the minimum,” says Maria Pevcik.
Russian authorities have long maintained that Navalny died of natural causes at the age of 47 on February 16, 2024.
His family and team say he was murdered and attribute his death to President Vladimir Putin.
At the second commemoration of his death, his widow, Iulia Navalny, and German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul announced on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference that Navalny had been poisoned with a powerful nerve agent.
They referred to lab results showing poisoning with a toxin known from South American “arrow” frogs, without presenting the lab reports.
Russia has rejected the allegations by the family and Western politicians and has notified the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) of its objections. It also denies allegations of poisoning Navalny with the nerve agent Noviciok in 2022, from which he recovered.
