Several trains between Oradea and Arad will be canceled for three months. The list announced by CFR Călători

Due to some works, several trains will be canceled between Arad and Oradea, and on a section passengers will be transported by minibuses, announced CFR Călători. The changes apply between March 1 and June 1.
There are 121 km between Oradea and Arad, and the fastest train takes 2 hours and 11 minutes, with three stops along the way. The journey takes almost three hours with trains stopping at all stations. On the Arad – Oradea route, the fastest trains take 2 hours and 20 minutes, but there is also a train that takes more than 200 minutes, due to longer stops.
What CFR Călători says about Oradea – Arad trains
In the period March 1 – June 1, 2026, in order to carry out some works on the railway infrastructure on the Salonta – Cefa distance located on the Oradea – Arad traffic section, works requested and carried out by the manager of the railway infrastructure – CNCF CFR SA, there will be changes in the circulation of trains operated by CFR Călători.
Thus, trains IR 1530, IR 1532, IR 1531, IR 1533, IR 1537, IR 1538, R 3112, R 3113, R 3115, R 3116, R 3117, R 3118 will be canceled on the distance Oradea – Salonta and return, and the transfer of passengers by car will be ensured on this distance.
Trains IR 1743 and IR 1744 between Arad – Oradea and return will be canceled and passengers will be transferred by car over the entire Arad – Salonta – Oradea and return distance.
