Colombian President Gustavo Petro needs to watch his back, US President Donald Trump said on Saturday during a press conference in Florida. Trump accused Colombian authorities of encouraging cocaine smuggling.
– He has cocaine factories. He has factories where he produces cocaine (…) He produces cocaine and sends it to the United States. So he has to watch his ass,” Trump said, responding to Petro's criticism of the Venezuela intervention.
Trump has previously threatened that US forces might attack drug production facilities inside Colombia.
