A poacher killed two roe deer in the east of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

In the Dzerzhinsko-Taseevsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police detained a man accused of illegally killing two Siberian roe deer.
Traces of hunting were found on the Kansk-Taseevo-Ustye highway. During the inspection of the crime scene, the investigative team seized parts of the carcass and internal organs of two individuals.
It turned out that a 68-year-old resident of the village of Dzerzhinskoye was engaged in hunting animals. He fully admitted his guilt and confessed to his crime. Preliminary damage was estimated at 240,000 rubles.
Law enforcement officers opened a criminal case under paragraph “a” of Part 1 of Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal hunting with infliction major damage.” Poachers can be punished a fine of up to 500 thousand rubles; or correctional or forced labor; or imprisonment for a term of up to two years.
