Russians will not be able to pay for Apple services from their mobile phones from April 1

In Russia, starting April 1, it will no longer be possible to top up your Apple ID balance. with mobile phone accounts, RBC reports, citing its own sources in the telecom market. The corresponding instructions to the Big Four operators were given by the head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Maksut Shadayev.
TASS reports that in this way the authorities want to achieve the return of Russian services to the App Store, from where they began to disappear in 2022 after the introduction of sanctions. Apple also ignores the requirement for mandatory installation of the Russian application store RuStore on phones and does not comply with Roskomnadzor’s demands to remove it from “store» VPN services.
Currently, MTS and “Beeline»T2 and “Megaphone» allow you to pay for services via partners.
