Trump accuses Obama of leaking 'classified information' about aliens, vows to release UFO documents himself
American President Donald Trump claimed that Barack Obama would have disclosed “classified information” after he joked about aliens in a podcast and announced that he would ask federal agencies to identify and publish documents about UFOs.

“Given the great interest, I will direct the Secretary of Defense and other relevant departments and agencies to begin the process of identifying and releasing government files on extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena, and unidentified flying objects.”he wrote on his platform, Truth Social.
Earlier in the day, the Republican president claimed that his Democratic predecessor leaked “classified information” when he suggested, in a joking tone, in an interview on a podcast, that aliens really exist, according to Agerpres.
“He gave classified information, he shouldn't do that”lamented Trump, when asked on board Air Force One about Obama's recent statements, which have reignited conspiracy theories on the subject.

Faced with backlash on social media, the former president posted a message on his Instagram account late Sunday to clarify his position, claiming that he made those statements to fit the relaxed atmosphere of the podcast.
“Statistically, the universe is so vast that the chances of life existing elsewhere are high”he explained. “But the distances between solar systems are so great that the chances of us being visited by aliens are slim, and I've seen no evidence during my presidency that aliens have contacted us.
