In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a senior district police officer helped a paramedic deliver a pregnant woman to the hospital in a timely manner. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.

Police Major Roman Shestakov was driving his official car to his assigned administrative station in the village of Taloe. On the Irbeyskoye-Taloye highway, a police officer saw an ambulance standing on the side of the road with the hood raised.

The concerned ambulance driver told the law enforcement officer that his car had broken down. There was a pregnant woman in the cabin at the time who urgently needed medical attention. At the same time, the temperature outside dropped to 30 degrees below zero.

“The district police officer immediately decided to escort the woman to the hospital. The police officer helped the woman and the paramedic get into the official car and drove to the village of Irbeyskoye. As a result, the woman was quickly taken to a medical facility, where she received the necessary medical care,” the regional police said.

A resident of the region thanked the policeman for the assistance provided.
