Żak in an interview with the website says that this is his first interview in his life. How is this possible? – It was a decision of parents who decided to take care of our privacy. That's why I have a different name than dad, and my photos are not on social. It suited me, I don't like being in the center of attention. This is not my nature, so this system suited me – he explains.
When asked why he decided to get out of the shadows now, he answers: – I still want not to be a person very recognized by media, but at the same time as the president of Polsat TV I have a sense of duty to employees and shareholders. I want them to know who manages the company and what he thinks. Every day I am not able to transfer it to all interested.
Without contact with the father
Żak in the conversation says what “pisses him off”. – How people lie to me and don't say what is really going on. It was also one of the reasons why I became the president of Telewizja Polsat. The surroundings of people who for years built their influence and support groups have been created to always agree with each other. Dad was less present, focused on other things and a lot of people grew around him, who thought that they were now the most important in the world. That is why we decided that I would enter the company and shorten this type of behavior. We are to be one family, not a few families competing with each other – he explains.
He also admits that the last six months have been in Polsat “heavy and changed the dynamics of cooperation among employees and boards.” – We are all waiting for the end of the dispute – he emphasizes.
Żak does not hide that in a personal context in recent months he felt “gigantic sadness because of what happened and how strangers were able to stick a wedge between such a close family.” – Look at interviews with my dad from the last 30 years, he always said that the most important is the family and wants to lead it all together with her to build the heritage of our family – he reminds.
In the conversation he admits that he cannot call his father. – The last time we talked live live in August last year. In our opinion, his father's surroundings cut him off from the possibilities of contacts. They do not allow one-to-one to meet or talk to him. Nobody. Children, long -term colleagues – he says.
