A Krasnoyarsk resident may face jail time for offensive inscriptions on an electric train (video)

A criminal case for hooliganism was opened against a 27-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk, who was involved in applying graffiti and offensive inscriptions on electric train cars.

The crime was committed on the territory of the Chernorechenskaya station. Transport police detained the attacker.

Under Part 1 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Hooliganism, that is, a gross violation of public order, expressing explicit disrespect for society committed on railway transport and motivated by hatred or hostility towards any social group) the person involved may be punished a fine in the amount of 300,000 to 500,000 rubles; or compulsory, corrective or forced labor; or imprisonment for a term of up to 5 years.
